I have always been very fond of Ganeshji-Ganu is what I call him. Many Indian and some of the international people have kept Ganeshji idol in various form of photographs, statues, memories, etc. He is actually the most beloved God of India. Being the icon of luck, remover of obstacles, you will always see Indian homes having at least one idol of Ganu in house.

Today is the arrival & celebration of Ganeshji in India. I m sharing some of my favorite photographs of 10-day celebration in India.

I plan to cover some of the celebration & Pandals in Mumbai along with Visarjan procession in India.

Some years back the Ganesh Idol were made from plaster of paris. A lot of abandon idols lie around the area, where devotee in the celebration do miss to see them from previous year. I believe quite a lot has changed in 2105 where famous pandal have gone organic. In Mumbai more than 1,00000 idols are immersed every year.
