Hula, dance form in Hawai

Travel

Nothing says Hawaii like hula dancing. This ancient dance tradition was brought over by the Polynesians to the Hawaiian Islands as a form of entertainment for the high chiefs and a way to worship the gods. Many traditions of hula have been altered in recent decades, like the lei (a traditional flower necklace), which was intended as a gift to the gods that dancers were not allowed to wear after their routine, and the costume, which consisted of topless women wearing grass skirts and men wearing loin cloths. But despite becoming a more family-friendly event for tourists, the art form…

A ready lead to first-time Backpackers

Travel

So it has been a depressing day, may be a sad week or even a super-boring month. What do you do?? A few suggestions you may get are: “go outside”, “get some fresh air”, “chill-out with friends”, “watch a series of movies from your bucket list” etc. My suggestion; BACKPACK AND GET LOST! Now for first-timers, “What is a Backpacking Trip?” Backpacking is a phenomenon wherein,  you just dump the things which decide your survival on the roads by yourself into a big back-strapped bag, and go out to explore the world, which starts from the first footstep outside…

Tarkarli – The “Virgin” beach of Konkan India

Travel

Hey let us go to “Tarkarli”… Tarkarli…?… Tarkarli…?…Virgin beach of kokan India. Yes the name did ring a bell at the back of my sleeping memory… Why but? At morning or rather should I say earlier than dawn my dull sleepy brain neither did comprehend the question nor gave out any answers… So like as usual, I would go back to sleep thinking it as a dream…. Yes indeed, the journey started with a “so called dream”… But by the time reality crept in, I was already packing my bags for the trip me and my friends always dreamt of….

Khaan Saab

Food

“My name is Khan and Iam not a terrorist” Dun worry I am not writing a film review, but giving you a very different experience to food and restaurant which I recently visited in Hyderabad- State of Nawabs as always addressed . The sumptuousness of Hyderabad cuisine is every rich and colossal. Something similar was when I visited Khan Saab restaurant with  burrp City manager Rajat  Bhigge (Hyderabad) to experience the Nawab style cuisine. This restaurant  serves Indian, Mughlai, North Indian, Grill , Kebabs ,Peshawari , Hyderabadiand and North West Frontier.  As you start finding this restaurant, in the mall called GVK where as…

Standup Comedy with NokiaappTASTING

Blog Post, Events

Being late for event like this, that means you are an “IDIOT”. Now I had tattoo appointment which got delayed due to my non resistance to pain and reached the event late by 1 Hour. Apologizes for that. With the massive needle penetration and convulsion, I still managed to be part of the event and active with games and quizzes irrespective I was just waving my hand for all activities , advantage of sitting close to stage direct view of Mr. Rajiv Makhani  and he listening to whatever I was whispering. As I enter the elephantine room of  Taj Land End, I see all unknown faces and…

Dharavi Walk with Rashmi Bansal, Blogadda team and Be the Local

Blog Post, Events

Now you may think one more cliché attempt by the photographer or blogger to write about   ” Dharavi”- and show how Mumbai is filled with poverty and deprived citizens. And here is the change in thinking, which was supported by the Author of latest book Poor Little Rich Slum– Rashmi Bansal (Stay Hungry Stay Foolish, Connect the Dots and I Have a Dream) and the Blogadda team over a Sunday where Dharavi walk was guided by Be the local.  Their idea behind calling around 15 bloggers for this walk is not to show the poverty line of this slum but the importance of living…
