We are visiting Suryagarh soon to experience the magnificent combination of luxury and great picturesque of Thar desert.
This is part of our Rajasthan road trip as well. We would be in Jaisalmer by 17th and then we would be sharing live experience as well.
The majestic Suryagarh is situated in Jaisalmer. Designed like an 18th century fort, the luxurious hotel features beautiful courtyards and grand Rajasthani architecture. An indoor pool, fitness centre and free Wi-Fi are available.
Suryagarh is 15 km from Nathmalji-ki-Haveli, while Jaisalmer Fort and Patwon-ki-Haveli is 16 km away. Jaisalmer Airport is 5 km from the hotel.
The elegant rooms at the hotel come with polished dark wood flooring, traditional handcrafted furnishings and heritage art pieces. Each well-appointed room is fitted with a flat-screen TV and minibar. A bathtub and hot shower facilities are provided.
Rait, the region’s first desert spa, provides rejuvenating massage treatments. Guests can also take part in cooking demonstrations, learn lacquer painting or arrange a camel ride through the desert.
Nosh restaurant serves both international and Indian dishes, while The Legend of Marwar offers fine Rajasthani dining complete with Indian music and dance. Wine and cocktails can be enjoyed at Draksh lounge.
Suryagarh, Jaisalmer is your gateway to the Thar Desert. Architecturally pure and true to an ancient craft, this magnificent hotel offers its guests a wonderful sense of space. At Suryagarh, we believe that we are not just a hotel but also a representation of a unique way of life carefully preserving the traditions of our past yet framing them in a modern idiom. Suryagarh excitingly takes the path less well travelled, and discovers with our guests, secrets of a land that has been shrouded in myths and legends. With great consideration to our guests comfort, our hospitality is intuitive and genuine.
Suryagarh rises dreamlike from the expanse of the vast Thar Desert. Our residences feature 62 Rooms and Suites, Spa and Fitness facilities, Restaurants and Bars, offering the ultimate in comfort. Our Onsite and Offsite Recreational Activities, inspired gardens, elegant courtyards, lakes and water bodies will only add to your incredible experiences here with us.
It is with singular pride that I draw your attention to the meticulously planned and exotic Food and Beverages menu. Our skillful chefs use ancient techniques, anoint food with distinctive flavors, and delight in firing up the charcoal grills to astound you with tastes that are inimitably Rajputana. Served with delicate refinement at your chosen in-house venue or out under the canopy of stars in the desert dunes, every experience enchants as subtle flavors beguile. At Suryagarh, history is the foundation; the experience is original.
At our in-house Spa, The Rait Spa, we have an inclusive philosophy of life viewing all that exists in the natural world as manifestations of the Sacred. Thoughtfully intended to reflect elements of this indigenous desert culture and its healing traditions, incorporating elements of intoxicating aromas of the world’s most exotic elixirs and oils; the treatments are designed to deliver radiance, healing and a quiet sense of inner and outer well-being.
