Having been in Dubai for the past two weeks, fashion enticed me. I was excited to explore the world of fashion here in Dubai. Fashion is a daily life here. Not that people get dressed only for during special events , occasions or parties. Being from Mumbai, fashion comes to me only during special days , but here I have to learn to change that idea. I have to treat fashion as an extension to one’s personality.

I was invited by one of the largest retail company ‘Apparel Group‘, for their launch of ‘Shoe Gallery‘- largest shoe store in Yas Mall, Abu DhabhiThe amazing part of this invite was that I would be picked up in luxurious LIMOUSINE , which I have always wanted to experience after watching the movie “Hangover”.

The journey from Dubai to Abu Dhabhi in the Limousine was smooth and luxurious .I was accompanied by other fashion bloggers. As we arrived at the venue, we were given a very warm welcome by the team.

The gallery offered me a shopping extravaganza where I was told it is one of the most eminent destinations in the region. The store was fashion-forward concept, with head turning design on shoes.

Along with shoes, the store also offers bags , accessories, makeup and an excited fashion savvy  team were on their toes to help me choose my best pair. This store guides you through your meetings with designers, customization and embellishments, professional foot care therapy, beauty & makeup restoration, a supervised play area for kids, a Tim Horton coffee shop and a lot more.

As all events, the giveaways for the bloggers was beyond what I had expected. The goodie bag had some of the great in-house goodies like small clutch from Pedro, Charles Keith & others. I picked up two shoes one from brand Dunes (London based) & other one from an established label from the voucher I was given.
