What rules transportation?

Reviews

The dotcom world has brought with it, immense convenience. My generation, the generation of millennials, has seen a lot of changes in our country. From the days when the only times we used to travel were either for weddings, family occasions, religious trips or the occasional vacations, to today, which is now all about indulgence and newer experiences. The generation of today does not wait for occasions to travel, but create their own reasons (and sometimes we don’t even need a reason ;)) As a travel blogger myself, I have explored numerous cities and places in India and overseas. Where…

How to Keep your Skin Hydrated when you Travel-Himalaya Kesar Pack

Lifestyle

With all the dust, jet lag and climate change, sweat, my skin is easily dehumanized by travel. During travel, taking care of the skin is the last thing anybody plans to think of. One thing people give up while packing is removing extra cosmetics from the makeup bag which is not needed. To a certain extent, even I am like that. I usually travel light so much so that I don’t even carry towel if my trip is planned only for the hotel stay. Recently after sunbathing in Jordan and Macau, my skin had totally tanned and chipped because of…

A one week itinerary for travel in Jordan- A Perfect introduction to Middle East World

Travel

Jordan has always been on my list of place to go this year, after a couple of travel blogger friends had visited it last year. When I received the news that I am heading to Jordan I could think of Jordan as a land of dramatic contrasts, ancient Roman structures juxtaposed with modern skyscrapers and charismatic eyes of the Bedouin people. The first look of the country was so overwhelming in each direction that I looked – I couldn’t think where to start writing from. I decided to give a sneak-peek into the entire itinerary as some of the readers…

Jordan- A trip with Jordan Tourism Board

Travel

After watching the Mars movie, which was shot in the Middle Eastern desert of Wadi Rum- Jordan, which serves as the backdrop for the movie made me very intrigued to go and see this beautiful country. Many of my blogger friends visited this country last year while I was traveling across India. Reading about Petra, Jarash, Roman theater, Wadi Rum, Aquaba, Madaba, and Nebo, on their blog I had already taken a visual trip of this magnificent country.  This is one of those times “going offbeat, being un-touristy” just makes no sense. For me a traveler, I like a country with soul. Jordan,…

Norwegian Seafood Council Event – GulFood 2016

Food

GulfFood 2016, was something I was eagerly looking for, as I heard there is a humongous stall for foods from various countries. I was excited to try them even after being vegetarian. As I have always said my connections happen over twitter and networking. I met Knut Helge Vestre CEO of Prawns of Norway at waterfall located in World Trade Centre. He was trying to find the stall and I happen to know that location. Hearing I am foodie & blogger invited Andrea Bailey (Dubai Partner) and me over for sit-down seafood event with Norway brand Ambassador H.E. Jens Eikaas. The…

Top experiences in Egypt I am planning for my next travel!

Travel

Egypt has been on my travel list when I moved to Qatar in 2012. I have many Egyptian friends, who talk about the culture, food, pyramids, etc. Most surprising they have great vegetarian dishes as well. Now that I have moved to Dubai, traveling to Egypt is quite simple. Since I always enjoy flying on the national carrier of the country, when I plan a trip to Egypt I would be flying with Egypt Air. They fly directly to Egypt in three hours with no stops. Here are just a few experiences I have planned for Egypt when I plan…

British Airways- Emotional Connect in Air!

Lifestyle

“The reason birds can fly and we can’t is simply because they have perfect faith, for to have faith is to have wings.” By  J.M. Barrie, The Little White Bird. Traveling to a destination is exactly like keeping your trust and faith in the new place. For years, people have flown by airplane experiencing the heights, procedure of check-in, airline food and much more. When I was 18, I had the privilege of experiencing my first flight. My sister gifted me a ticket to Chennai, while she worked there. Until today for me, flying is always about the thrill, compassionate experience, the…

Living a dream of Flight Attendant

“His classmates were clapping; his principal was patting his back and his parents were beaming. He was walking towards the podium and…”, the alarm went off. Mrs. Dassani came into the room to wake her 8 years old son, Yashas. Lazily, Yashas rubbed his eyes and got dressed. It was a normal day at school and 3rd period was going on. There was a knock on the class door and all the kids looked in the direction. The principal entered the classroom and cleared his throat. The room all of a sudden went eerily quiet. He started to speak and…

Accessorize with #CharmingCharlie ,Dubai

Events

Charming Charlie, as the name says, the store really charms a woman who love accessories and bags which matches with the daily outfit. They recently launched the Spring 2016 collection in Dubai at their Ibn Battuta Mall. I was one of the privileged blogger on the select guest list invited by them to preview the launch collection and experience the vibrancy of Charming Charlie designs. The store is so colorful and well done, along with delicious snacks rolling in, I didn’t realize when the evening went by. The in store fashion store was fun to watch as how the accessories would…
