Whenever the word solo “Women”  comes, the first question arises to the human mind, “Is it safe” to travel in new city?  How about staying alone in hotel? Khaan Saab

Food

“My name is Khan and Iam not a terrorist” Dun worry I am not writing a film review, but giving you a very different experience to food and restaurant which I recently visited in Hyderabad- State of Nawabs as always addressed . Pushkar Festival- Rajasthan

Blog Post, Travel

In July I went backpacking with a close friend from london, where during journey I learnt about new travel experiences.  Now I was ready to travel solo or maybe just try .. So after a short break from travel the itch to travel was already over my mind.. The next destination I chose was Pushkar – which is one city in India that everybody is cognizant of and wishes to visit someday. This sacred city of Hindus, is only 10 km from the city of Ajmer in Rajasthan. The city of Pushkar is comfortably settled between hills from tri-directions and the magnificent golden desert…

Being late for event like this, that means you are an “IDIOT”. Now I had tattoo appointment which got delayed due to my non resistance to pain and reached the event late by 1 Hour. Apologizes for that. With the massive needle penetration and convulsion, I still managed to be part of the event and active with games and quizzes irrespective I was just waving my hand for all activities , advantage of sitting close to stage direct view of Mr. Rajiv Makhani  and he listening to whatever I was whispering. As I enter the elephantine room of  Taj Land End, I see all unknown faces and…

Blog Post, Events

How many of you think that Wine is a style statement and can be understood only by a very well drinker with information? Most of you right. The statement by CEO Mr. Abhay Kewadkar –Head UB – Four Seasons Wines and Chief Wine Maker still runs in mind when he said ” Wine is a drink. Enjoy the way you enjoy whisky, vodka or any other beverage. Wine is not about how old is the winery, how the glass is to be hold, how to pair it with some cuisine, etc. But it is about enjoying the drink the way  you cherish other beverages and gradually after  likeness the quality…

Now you may think one more cliché attempt by the photographer or blogger to write about   ” Dharavi”- and show how Mumbai is filled with poverty and deprived citizens. And here is the change in thinking, which was supported by the Author of latest book Poor Little Rich Slum– Rashmi Bansal (Stay Hungry Stay Foolish, Connect the Dots and I Have a Dream) and the Blogadda team over a Sunday where Dharavi walk was guided by Be the local.  Their idea behind calling around 15 bloggers for this walk is not to show the poverty line of this slum but the importance of living…

Moms Recipe- Veg Briyani

Blog Post, Events

Today after travelling from Andheri to Vashi, I realized that Mumbai would be the most difficult city to live in some years. As young mothers have to work, travel to office and also cook to impress their husband, it is easy to do a quick dinner . Being travelling in train and bus from many years, met some interesting people in the journey of daily commute. There is an aunty named Ajitha Menon residing in Sanpada with her two sons Siddharth Menonand Arjun Menon. Both sons are unique in their own creations of talent. Aunty wakes up 4.30am in the morning…
