How many of you see birds around you during your travel and wonder what bird species it belongs too? My recent trip to Uttarakhand , I saw more than around 25speices myself and I was wondering what it was. I followed them as a bird photographer enthusiast and then kept searching their name in the book , which lie on the chair of the beautiful Home stay. So I decided that I ll take this trip to Himalayan Bird Watching . Well then join me along with The Folk Tales to Munsiyari , Uttarakhand .
The Gori River basin of western Himalayas houses approximately 324 bird species. It is almost a quarter of all the bird species of India. These birds which include rare, endemic, and endangered species can be found at all altitude levels from 600m to 7,000m above sea level. This region encompasses climates ranging from polar to alpine with different vegetation types and hence the bird habitats. In addition to bird watching with Kalpvriksh environmental group and bird watching expert Ashish Kothari, experience the unique skill of putting your experiences into words and photographs in their sessions on photography and travel writing with a professional travel writer.
