With all the dust, jet lag and climate change, sweat, my skin is easily dehumanized by travel. During travel, taking care of the skin is the last thing anybody plans to think of. One thing people give up while packing is removing extra cosmetics from the makeup bag which is not needed. To a certain extent, even I am like that. I usually travel light so much so that I don’t even carry towel if my trip is planned only for the hotel stay.
Recently after sunbathing in Jordan and Macau, my skin had totally tanned and chipped because of hot sun and humidity. So I decided to try Himalaya Herbals Kesar Pack as I trust herbal products for my skincare regime. Whenever I chose a face pack I make sure that it should be enriched with herbal ingredients. Among manufacturers of Herbal Products, one of the best brands available is Himalaya. I have seen many international travellers swear by Himalaya Herbal as well.
Himalaya Kesar Pack –What does the product say?
Since my mother is a home remedy person, I would apply the home made a pack which is a paste of gram flour and turmeric to get rid of tanning and this mask has the same turmeric ,so why not to give a try to this one. But before that let’s have a look on their product details and my personal experience.
Product says it’s a natural skin lightening pack enriched with antioxidants which lighten dark spots and enhances the complexion. It removes impurities and exfoliates the skin. Cinnabloc, an herbal sunblock provides effective protection for your skin from sun’s harmful UV rays.Walnut and Indian Aloe heals the skin and removes blackheads.
My face pack experience
Himalaya Kesar Pack is clay based and I am very fond of clay based face pack always. The texture is very smooth and I usually use a brush to evenly spread face pack around my neck as well. The Himalaya herbal kesar face pack comes in a tube packaging with a very sturdy flip open cap. Overall, it is very handy and sturdy to carry in a purse during travelling. So I actually carry it during my travel as one extra skin care regime on my long travel. I like the mild fragrance it has because a heavy scent does get onto my head if I have face pack to be kept for a long time.
I always scrub my face first then remove the scrub. Then I apply face pack on my face, neck avoiding the eye area and leave it for like 15 minutes. In the meantime, I finish a couple of my work emails as the consistency of the pack is good enough not to drop anywhere. I wash away with lukewarm water and yes I could feel the difference.
The result I could feel that my skin has been cleansed deeply and skin has become soft, supple, hydrated, clean, and clear. The after effect is just awesome. My face feels smooth and soft. I use face packs like once a week or sometimes twice as well. With its regular use, you will feel the slight difference in your complexion. The face pack is suitable for all skin types as I suggested to other travel bloggers as well. It has some great active ingredients which work’s great for our skin like Turmeric (which itself is an antiseptic), Kesar (great for lightening skin complexion/ spots/marks), Walnut (great exfoliate product for skin ) and Cinnabloc ( protects skin from UV rays). This face pack is a must try for this hot summer. I found some soft itching happening but maybe that would be because of turmeric but it doesn’t leave any red patches or side effects after wash.
