Strangely, people think a woman who travels does not take care of her skin. Being the simple and natural girl that I am, I enjoy natural products. While traveling, taking care of the skin means extra luggage and extra time. What if I say that you can do your skin care regime just by taking with you Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Pack in your travelling kit? I will be sharing my experience with you of using this lovely face pack. This summer, I also used Himalaya Kesar Pack which is another great product by them. You can buy any Himalaya product from Himalayastore.com which is the official online store of ‘The Himalaya Drug Company’ that sells health care, skin and hair care products.
Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Pack- What does the product say?
A purifying mask that helps to regulate excess oil secretion, cleans clogged pores and prevents the recurrence of pimples. Neem, well known for its purifying and antibacterial properties, helps in controlling acne and pimples, and their recurrence. Combined with Turmeric, it helps remove acne-causing bacteria. Fuller’s Earth (Multani Mitti) cools and soothes the skin, improving skin texture and leaving you with clear, problem-free skin. This is written on their website and on the pack as well. There are many active ingredients which play a great role in purifying the skin. Azadirachta indica (Neem, Nimba) is well known for its antibacterial properties, helps in controlling acne and pimples, and their recurrence. Panka (Fuller’s earth, Multani Mitti) is anti-inflammatory. The packaging of the bottle is very neat, sturdy and travel-friendly- white squeeze tube with a green flip open cap.
My face pack experience
The face pack is dark green in colour and has a little bit of a grainy texture. It spreads easily on the face with the right consistency that it has. This neem mask turns light green in colour after drying. The sediments in the pack are a mixture of fuller’s earth and dry neem leaves.
After cleaning my face with the scrub, I take a good amount of the mask and apply it evenly to my face, neck, and back with a soft brush. While the pack is drying it gives a mild tingling sensation as mentioned on the pack, which is due to turmeric. I leave it on for 15 minutes while I finish writing this blog and then wash it off with water. Although it is suggested to use a wet sponge, I somehow always use cold water to splash and refresh me. I added a little water after it was dried and in a circular motion massaged the skin as the grainy particles help to exfoliate the skin. Usually, the pack is apt for oily and acne skin, but if you have normal skin, using it once a week can do wonders. It reduces extra oil and tightens the pores and skin feel soft and supple. It is affordable and its travel-friendly packaging makes this mask a must have product in skin care while I travel. I strongly recommend this mask to calm down the problematic skin and to welcome the summer season. I will definitely recommend buying this for your travel kit.
