After spending almost a year in Qatar,I was always keen on seeing a different face of majestic Dubai. Massive & beautiful architecture of the buildings, Ubiquitous Malls , Luxurious Hotels , Extravagant shopping, etc . As Seth Sherwood writes about the entrepreneurial spirit of HH Sheikh Mohammed in the New York Times, about how Dubai’s ruler says “Money is like water. If you lock it up ,it becomes stagnant and foul-smelling, but if you let if flow, it stays fresh”. This clearly states the magnitude of the level of Dubai’s economy. I have been wanting to visit Dubai since a long time. Even though my real sibling settled there, I haven’t been able to visit Dubai because of mere bad timing.
I am a big sucker for pools and trust me, whenever I book a hotel, I always check if they have a pool. Dubai has the finest modern architecture and the best luxurious and extravagant standalone beach clubs in Dubai. I would definitely want to visit at least one of them, when I visit Dubai . The thriving art & design ecosystem of these luxurious hotels are sure to leave one mesmerized and breathless.
InterContinental Dubai Festival City
Imagine swimming away to glory while looking at the busy streets of Dubai. Amazing right? The InterContinental Dubai Festival City’s 25-meter lap pool juts out from the hotel’s 4th floor, meaning you can see the street through its glass bottom. If you ever had pet goldfish , then you are going to feel the same if you venture at the edge of the pool. I am sure this pool will literally take me over the edge .
Dubai Beach Hotel Resort – Kempinski The Palm
A 1200m long swimming pool , next to a beach. What more does one need to find peace? I’d love to sip on a cocktail by the bar during sunset while watching the breathtaking view of the Dubai Skyline.
So what if you cant go to Hawai ? Wadi Adventure is the Middle East’s premier man-made surfing, kayaking, and whitewater rafting destination. It has surf pool which makes waves of 3.3 meter high every 90 seconds. I’m thinking of going surfing here !
This is Dubai’s first Spanish hotel , which has a rooftop swimming pool which makes the Dubai Night Skyline more dramatic. The bar at the pool makes the social setting perfect for a laid back evening.
Riva –Best Beach Club
Having its own stretch of beach, this place also boasts of being the first standalone beach club in Dubai. It is like a tropical paradise in the desert. The atmosphere here will make you forget that you are in a dessert. Sun loungers at Riva are to die for.
So..I am planning a trip to Dubai pretty soon in 2016, just for these super amazing swimming pools in the hotels. Are you?
